Notes: The Woodland Trust and National Trust have recently acquired Ausewell Wood and are in the process of replacing conifers with natives. On 12th April 2021, the site became open to the public, or at least those areas that are not restricted due to bird nesting season which finishes in August. The Rocks are magnificent and a car park nearby facilitates access.
