Second time searching for this one. Fortunately I found the one lower down (B.M. 1198.4 SWF (346 m)) which was 13 metres north of the SidebySide NGR.. so I applied that discrepancy this time to this one and got to an area thick with molinia and dense gorse. Using the ‘bruised toes’ method of finding rocks in undergrowth I quickly happened on a large granite block.. and digging in this beauty suddenly appeared! Triumph! A VERY hard one to find and I think I got a little lucky today! I used yellow gorse petals to indicate the base of the three cut darts.
Image below shows Wistman’s wood in the distance to the north.
