Sat down behind a granite wind-break to have lunch and there right in front of me was an abandoned stone trough?! One of the corners was broken and I suspect that is why chiselling any deeper was stopped and the trough abandoned. Not read of any abandoned stone trough on Sharpitor before and so far have failed to find another reference online or otherwise. Despite it being in a very obvious place I had never noticed it before.
