Acknowledgement: Dave Parks shared a scan of a book relating to a Robert Burnard publication ‘Plundered Dartmoor’ on Facebook. It has some very interesting enclosure maps with a few location names I had not heard of before (RJN).
Notes: I believe ‘meres’ refers to a lake – but in this instance must refer to a marsh.
