Abandoned Worked Granite

This classification is for granite that can be found worked i.e cut, carved, feather & tared, inscribed or polished etc. Many of these items were abandoned due to a breakage during their working. They can include millstones, apple crushers, stone troughs etc. Also included are sett makers’ bankers which were used as stone benches to make granite cobbles and are numerous.
