Notes: Dad found this one today – one of the hardest to see. Considerable weathering has almost totally obliterated this B.M. – it was just the slight shadow of the top ‘level’ line that caught his eye. The boulder itself is rather easier to find being quite large. The O.S. Surveyors must have decided to place the B.M. in the middle of the boulder as it has such a rounded top. I have only seen a few B.M.s placed as such so this one is a bit unusual.
