According to an early 1900s OS map there is a bench mark around here somewhere.. I found no evidence of it and given the amount of moss and forest debris covering everything I think my quest was always a rather unlikely one! Also the GPS was playing up due to tree cover.. so it was back to old fashioned pacing :oS

Edit Update!! Tim Sandles (Legendary Dartmoor) has found new evidence (see below). Personally I suspect some Photoshop trickery.. ;o)
