At the original NGR there were two small granite rocks but neither, sadly, seemed to possess a benchmark, even after searching, so I decided to take a little wander to see if I could find any other rocks, and sure enough, close by and less than 10 or so metres from the NGR, I spotted a candidate. It was a very small slab but I pulled part of the mossy, grassy carpet back and voila! A benchmark! I was ecstatic.
