This river head, which I believe to be the highest on all of Dartmoor, is one of the best, with a huge peat bank denoting the beginnings of this lively watercourse. The head itself is very boggy and a feather bed, so tread with caution. Bog Asphodel and Sphagnum Moss are in abundance here, and the sense of seclusion is unparalleled.
