Not for the faint-hearted! It’s rather narrow and steep!

It is a Victorian staircase that was built scaling the east side of Blackingstone Rock to allow for access to the summit. The top is exposed granite with tremendous views and rock basins, so the labour of negotiating the stairs is well worth it if you can.
