This is perhaps the most disappointing outcrop on this hump of Broad Down. A very low rock, practically a tripping hazard (!), sits at the top of the hill and affords marvellous views that more than compensate for the lack of decent granite.
In one of these photos, Paul Buck is stood atop for scale, showing just how diminutive it is! If you are walking to the East Dart Waterfall from Postbridge, you will likely pass Broadun Rocks North. It is worth stopping here nonetheless for the serenity.
