Hemery (p.520) mistakes this and another nearby stone for something else: “The boundary stones, both large ones, are county stones, each inscribed ‘CB’, the southern stone standing beside the Church Way branch as it crests the down at the end of the strip.” They are actually Cator Boundstones.
