Set in a commanding view, Crow Tor or “The Tank” looks down to Wistman’s Wood and out to the imposing tors of Longaford and Beardown. On the southern side of Crow Tor are some simple ‘steps’ that lead up to a very pleasant grassy platform. Walking carefully around the back of this platform a short, flat walkway (with a bit of a drop!) leads into the centre of the tor and a further, easy climb up to the very top is possible. (RN)
