Notes: Steve Grigg on Dartmoor 365 Facebook has kindly supplied Dartefacts with the information for this item as well as the ‘Featured Image’, stating: “RH Worth described this as a potato cave. Eric Hemery, however, argued there were signs of corbelling (as seen in beehive huts) and stated it was a tinners’ cache (aka vooga in Devon or fougou in Cornwall) for miners’ tools from the Keaglesborough Mine.
