Description: I have seen a photo of the ’empty’ spot where the edgerunner was originally located (see reference plate 4, below) – but I couldn’t find that on my visit today. My photo is taken at the field corner, close to the NGR location.

Reference: MoD Doe Tor Farm Conservation Management Historic Site Apprioasal and Survey SX 53510 84930, Plate 4 is taken from the west. The edgerunner ‘gap’ is just under 1 m in width.

Not entirely certain what is meant by an ‘edgerunner’, except I am assuming it is probably a millstone, or similar (as that’s what it looked like in the photo of it I’ve seen – before it was nicked).
