Description: This beautiful mire (yes, beautiful and mire can go in the same sentence!) is easily reached via a waymarked path that takes walkers around the edge of the mire. Start at Saddle Tor, explore Emsworthy Barn and then explore this unique area of East Dartmoor.

From the western path you can view several tors and rocks from below, including, and as seen in the Featured Image, Holwell Tor, Little Holwell Tor, Haytor Rocks, Emsworthy Rocks, Little Emsworthy, and Saddle Tor.
