Notes: Beside a path on Beacon Plain lies this very interesting artefact, a partly cut/worked square granite rock that resembles the beginnings of a trough.

However, and as theorised on the Dartmoor Information Exchange Facebook Group, this could also be a float stone with another in the area looking just like this example.
