Notes: The grid reference, images and details for this item were kindly supplied by Martin Philpott. There appears to be a Granite Marker (with a bolt atop) close to a brass (?) object on bedrock, listed elsewhere as a ‘Survey Marker’. It would be interesting to know what they were used for or if they are linked to surveying the area, perhaps?
