Description: Small metal plaque mounted on south face of large boulder.

Notes: I was flicking through an old copy of ‘Dartmoor News’ (Issue 132, May/June, 2013) when I read an article on pages 47-49 regarding a plane crash at Huntingdon Warren in 1945. At the end of the article it is stated that a small cross was firmly fixed to a large boulder on the hillside above the old warren house. This cross was made in a school and was placed there in the summer of 1985 by Brett Sutherland, with the help of his father, as a tribute to those that lost their lives in that air crash.
