Notes: ‘Lucy Tor’ was an invented name by Dave Bellamy, named after his daughter.
Reference: It is actually named Lower Top Tor according to the Tors of Dartmoor website, as it is not “shapely” and cannot, we think, be Eric Hemery’s ‘Bovey Rock’. The author, in his 1983 publication, mentions an outcrop known as such, but tracing his footsteps is difficult due to a lack of NGRs.
