Observation Post/ OP 22.
Extant, it’s all there! Observation Post (OP) 22 is one of a number of such sites dotted across North Dartmoor within Okehampton Range. They are/were used for military training and OP 22 is perhaps the best preserved of them all, and the largest. It is the only OP that is still in regular use today and has a commanding southerly view. More information can be sought in ‘Dartmoor Observation Posts‘ by John Deakins.
