Quite a large hut to be a tinners’ hut, and I can’t see any evidence of a leat for water power, so don’t think this is a blowing house. Could it have been a large tinners’ hut shelter or a hut for shepherds?

Steve Granger, who also kindly supplied the below image, suggests that this may be a longhouse. Possibly associated with the nearby enclosure.
