Notes: This stone is on the top of Dartmoor’s most remote hill with the letters ‘JEW’ inscribed into its surface. This stone is known as ‘The Jew Stone’. It is not known by whom or why this stone was inscribed.

Reference: The original NGR was SX 59981 82800 which is miles out. Thanks go to Fiona Rothwell for providing the much more accurate NGR of SX 59913 82791, and for also mud painting the inscription as seen in the Featured Image so that it is more discernible.
