Notes: Classified on Dartefacts as a Memorial Site rather than as inscribed letters/ numerals as it feels more like a remembrance type item.
The inscription is taken from the song ‘You are my sunshine’. The 8318 means ‘I love you forever’ (8 letters, 3 words, 1 meaning 831) and the end 8 is ‘forever’ – an 8 on its side is infinity.
You are my sunshine
My only sunshine
You make me happy
When skies are grey
You’ll never know, dear
How much I love you
Please don’t take
My sunshine away
