The Rounded Quartz Boulder (510 m)

Sometimes, the places we stop for a cup of tea and a slice of home-made cake can feel very significant. This large, rounded boulder could be seen from quite a distance away and on closer inspection it had fabulous, large quartz crystals. A perfect place for a rest, down beside it and out of the wind. A friendly rock indeed.
