B.M. 1409.6, SW facing

I almost gave up looking for this one but as I made that difficult decision, I noticed an incision on this rock and, by carefully pulling back some of the moss, I whooped for joy as I saw this lovely cut mark.

Hint: The benchmark is almost in the centre of the below image. It is hoped that this context shot will enable future visitors to easily locate this fine benchmark.

B.M. 1503.2, E facing, Almost Buried

Apologies for the not so attractive photos here, but not only is this benchmark faint, it is extremely tough to photograph because it rests under moss. Trying to keep it visible with my foot while taking a photo required a certain level of ‘skill’. I used grass to denote where the benchmark is on the slab. (MP comment)
