North end NGR (supplied by Steve Grigg): SX 65019 65728, South end NGR (supplied by Steve Granger): SX 65038 65636.
Reference: The details for this item were kindly supplied by Steve Grigg where he credits EA Wade publications (1982 and 2004). The Micas were 335 feet long by 43 feet wide. Steve Granger has also kindly supplied the Featured Image.
Notes: This is a great shelter but it may have also been used to store items. It is located beside the Zeal Tor Tramway and is difficult to miss. Thanks go to Steve Grigg for telling us that this is called the ‘Tumbling Bay’, “where the liquid clay was pumped via a 15 inch steel rising main”.
Subscription Update:
Testing to be continued: Further testing days are required. A pop-up, like this one, will announce when testing has ended and subscriptions begin.
During the test period it is possible that new/ unregistered users will be directed to a payment test page. Please do not use that – it is for testing purposes only and will not actually take any payment, but is necessarily ‘activated’ for our testing.
