Assycombe Brook Head

Or Assacombe Brook.

The ‘D’ Stone, Fernworthy Forest Boundary (449 m)

Look on the inside of the wall (the forest side). Not the obvious ‘D’ Stone atop Assycombe Hill, but the second more elusive one on the way around to White Ridge. Almost impossible to spot from the moor side you have to go through a gate (into the forest side) and then follow the stone wall back down towards the stream. A nice place to sit out of the rain too!
