King-de-stone

Notes: Marked on old maps as a stone avenue that now extends from the shore north west and into the reservoir. On an old enclosure map in Robert Bernard’s ‘Plundered Dartmoor’ (shared by Dave Parks on Facebook) there is a location called King-de-stone which would appear to be at the location of the stone row on old maps. I’m not entirely sure there is a stone row here as there are hut circles and other remains in this area that might once have been confused for a stone row.
