Notes: This fine Memorial Cross stands at the entrance of St. Andrew’s Church and has written on its base:
A SYMBOL OF VICTORY / AND A MEMORIAL OF THE MEN / OF MORETONHAMPSTEAD / WHO FELL IN THE GREAT WAR / 1914 – 1918 / “THEIR NAME LIVETH FOR EVERMORE”.
