Wray Cleave Stream Head

Notes: Starts by the ruined cottages at Lewdowns. The stream then flows through the picturesque Wray Cleave, passing under Wray Cleave Wood Tor where a footpath crosses it. This is a steep hillside and the stream soon meets a field where it plunges into a pipe before re-emerging at a pond by the A382, entering the Wray Brook.

Furze Park Tor, Southern Outcrop

Notes: Furze Park is a name used on Tithe Maps for a field below the woodland here. Please see Tors of Dartmoor for additional information.

This fine outcrop was first noted by Jake Parrish, and it is the southernmost part of Furze Park Tor, not too far from Wray Cleave Stream.
