NW Post (T.W.M.?) by Beadon Brook
Probably related to the waterworks stones that are inscribed T.W.M. 1858 for Torquay Water Main?
Clam Bridge over Beadon Brook
T.W.M. 1858 Stone, near TK to Twizzle Tree Cottage
Not located in December 2022 but found lying face down in the ground in February 2023 by Max Piper and Tim Jenkinson of the Milestone Society. Kindly uprighted by the owner of Greatrock Farm in March 2023 and due to be concreted back on its base soon. The stone had been hit by a vehicle (we presume) many years ago and abandoned. The inscription is in excellent condition.

T.W.M. 1858 Stone, above Twizzle Tree Cottage
Max Piper explains: This fabulous T.W.M. stone had been buried for probably decades until it was eventually found by Max Piper in December 2022. The stone was buried beneath dense vegetation so it had to be cleared. It is one in the series running between Tottiford Reservoir and Torquay. They denote an old pipeline that provided water from the old mill at Tottiford to the then tiny population of Torquay, which was replaced by Dartmoor’s oldest reservoir, again at Tottiford, in 1861 due to growing demand.
