B.M. 1855.4, NW facing, Okement Hill (Not Located)

A few rocks around… but none in the exact area and given the military’s presence the rock may well have been moved or used to construct the OP. It didn’t help that I did not bring my glasses on this walk, so may be worth another look.

Extant, it’s all there! The best-known of the observation posts, this is the southernmost point on the former ‘Ring Road’ that up until 2009 was open to public vehicles, enabling much quicker access to places such as Cranmere Pool.
