Observation Post/ OP 07.
Extant, it’s all there! It is part involved with a small rock outcrop. John Deakins adds: “A totally unique design from the other OPs and another of the surviving seven, this was constructed from a pre-formed concrete tunnel divided in three sections dug into the side of a small hillock…”

Extant, it’s all there!
Located at the head of a target railway system this is a former target carrier shed, converted into an OP. It is constructed of a granite block side walls and a rear wall of cast-insitu concrete which has been set into an earth bank. There are RSJs supporting a reinforced concrete roof which is covered with a large earth and grassed mound on three sides. There is a half-height concrete wall inside with metal holds for easy access.
