Dury Farm Rocks

Description: The best way to access the rocks is to branch off the public bridleway to the north, following the west side of the wall. You’ll be overlooking the splendid Lakehead Cleave Tor before scaling a stile to reach a dilapidated metal gate. Just beyond this lie the low but pleasing Dury Farm Rocks. Whilst Sanders and Watson (1996) called the outcrops ‘Dury Farm Rocks’, Dartmoor Guide Paul Rendell has always simply known them as ‘Dury Rocks’.

Stile, Opp. Lakehead Cleave Tor

Notes: This stile provides good views of Lakehead Cleave Tor in winter months and is the best way to access Dury Farm Rocks to the south.
