Perhaps my favourite thing about benchmark hunting is carefully pulling back some turf on a rock and discovering a beautiful cut mark beneath, gone unnoticed for decades. Well this was one such case. I have also never seen such a huge divot. (MP)

Jon White, Torbagga records: “…there are two more holes, but one of them has the metal drill still in the hole – I have never seen an original drill/tare in a rock, so it was a great find.
