Notes: Beside the public bridleway is this rectangular hole in the ground. An old leat leads here and the Heritage Gateway describes a “Waterwheel on the threshing barn at Water [which] was powered by a leat from the Hayne Brook serving a small mill pond.”
The mill itself is on private land.
