Where a Bridge Once Stood

There was once a bridge here that carried the railway all the way to Moretonhampstead, but now it is closed off and left for nature to reclaim the railbed. Sadly it never formed part of the Wray Valley Trail. The public footpath to Mill Bottom follows part of this track and were a bridge ever reinstalled would either need to be much higher or the track much lower, as no van would be able to pass underneath.
