The top is damaged. Mark Fenlon writes: “Assuming that these stones also stood on the line of a reave/old field wall, the search began at the most easterly of the known stones (RB 8). However, fate played its hand, and attention turned to the Stone in the ‘shallow gully’ that had proved difficult to locate. Persistence paid off when the Editor found the stone, which was positively identified after comparing it to a photo obtained from the Dave and Kath Brewer archive.
