Notes:  On Dartefacts 'Livestock Gates' are the typically wider gates made so that cattle together with farmers on horseback or quads can pass through. Some are named 'Moor Gate' as these provide access onto the moorland - either from adjacent moorland or from off the moor. Some gates were deemed so significant that they had names attached, such as 'Abbot's Gate'.
