We spent quite a bit of time near the beginning and end of our walk searching for this one. Most of the B.M.s were about 15m or so due SW of the SideBySide grid references I had acquired, so in this area that led us to the rock in the image. There were a few more candidates in the area, but this one was spot on with the adjusted grid reference and it looked perfect. Quite a lot of the B.M.s in this area are placed on top of rocks (which is a bit unusual) – and this one was nice and flattish but it had nothing except one small ‘dent’ that looked like a cut mark, but equally could have been natural. It is possible that this one has eroded away?
