Notes: A three-corner boundary stone, which was reported as ‘missing’ during Ashburton’s Beating the Bounds of 2012. However, despite no new stone being recorded in Dartmoor News, Issue 127, a modern-looking has appeared, inscribed ‘B / A / T’. It is most probably a limestone marker, but the question lies in where the original stone disappeared to?

The markings on this new stone are rather strange, as one might assume that these letters denote the meeting of Bickington, Ashburton and Torbryan parishes, which is to the north-east of here near Hole Farm.
