Late medieval block of eight almshouses remodelled in 1637. They were restored in 1938 and are now converted into two cottages. They were given to the National Trust in 1952.

Close by is an entrance to the Sentry, which provides access to the churchyard and footpaths running down towards Shute Lane and Lime Street. Also look out for the curious Dancing Tree Cross nearer the town centre.
