A huge gatepost comprised of several blocks of granite. The old barracks were here (hence the name ‘Barrack Road’). Look out for the slot in the side.

“Now demolished, the Imperial was one of three Princetown hotels listed in a guidebook from 1929. Depicted on the late 19th century historic maps through into the mid-20th century, it appears to have been demolished some time in the later 20th century.”
