Here, the flowing part of the Devonport Leat enters a plughole, through a viaduct over the Cowsic River and pops out at ‘Leat Meet‘. If the Cowsic branch of the Devonport Leat was flowing, it would also enter this same plughole and supplement the existing water supply from the West Dart branch.
