Notes: On 9th July 1840, this bridge, known as Homers or Homeward Bridge, was badly destroyed by a severe flooding event which saw the Butter Brook swell. Together with Lukesland Bridge (which is no longer extant), they are reported as having been later reconstructed at a cost of £10. 7s. 0d. (or around £900 when adjusted for inflation today).

It is a possible clapper bridge (and this theory becomes more likely when seen from the side), since adapted into a road bridge. It has two arches.
