This seriously beautiful stretch of the North Teign River is known as ‘Manga Hole’, a name used by Eric Hemery (1983) in High Dartmoor. The area, along with the small but striking outcrop called ‘North Teign Rocks’ by Paul Rendell, is documented on Tors of Dartmoor.
