Notes: This rather grand entrance drive leads to Teignhead Farm from the clapper bridge of the same name. In the mist, it really is quite a sight. Atmospheric. A photograph in Eric Hemery’s book ‘High Dartmoor‘ labels this as a ‘stroll’, so presumably at some point it acted as a way for animals to move towards the farm from the moorland.
