RJN: One of those wonderful finds a Dartmoor BM’er dreams of. I stepped on this rock as I was walking towards the original NGR and thought ‘must return to check that’. When I did it required a fair bit of gardening as the top was covered in years of thick vegetation, mud, roots and grass. Flipping the lid of this stuff revealed a startlingly well-preserved BM and divot beneath. I think Max Piper whooped for joy when his eyes alighted on this beauty!
