Notes: A guide stone we presume for Postbridge and Moretonhampstead, situated on – and perhaps predating – the old Turnpike (present B3212). Set in the wall on the edge of Bellever Forest, this gatepost-type stone is inscribed P and M on opposite sides.
Acknowledgement: Photographed by Tim Jenkinson in 2014, he thanks Dave and Kath Brewer for helping with the location; also Mark Fenlon.
